I find this flashlight to be the perfect companion to my night sky viewing. The adjustable intensity allows me to decrease the brightness as my eyes adjust to the darkness.I would have liked the ability to switch between white and red LED as white light would have been useful to set things. I used a (2AA) battery mag-light with a red lens before and found it to be too bright..
