I purchased the CCD-TRV68 back in 2001 and have found it to be an EXCELLENT camcorder.I used this camera for shooting videos for broadcasting, interviews, traveling documentary style videos, not to mention family stuff.I have this poor camera worked tirelessly over the past 8 years and it has never work is not right for me. I would recommend it to anyone.The only downside is that there is no possibility to connect an external microphone cable..
